About Millie

Millie has had a whirlwind of a life in such a short period of time. She came to us from a couple that was being deployed in the army. She did great in foster and went to a home where she was with a few other dogs and began getting grumpy when she had to share her beds, so a trainer was offered and they did not accept training support, instead, they surrendered her as they said they weren't prepared for another dog. Millie then went to a home where the grandchild was allowed to jump on her. We were appalled and immediately removed her. All Millie did was growl, a natural, safe reaction to discomfort. Millie is now with us and she has training support to trust humans again. She has been tossed around SO MUCH and she really deserves her true forever home, not humans who keep giving up on her. She is very quiet in her crate, loves her people so much, and would do super well with another confident dog in the home. She is great with RESPECTFUL children.
