Sandy is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves cuddling, playing with her ball, pretending she's a lap dog, and following me and my partner around wherever we go. She absolutely loves 'her people'. Unfortunately she is just not the right fit for my lifestyle, but I had a choice to either leave her back at the shelter where she was guaranteed to be euthanized, or adopt her so I could continue looking for a forever home for her. She's 4 years old, 65 pounds, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and has all of her shots. Sandy has made so much great progress since I got her as a foster dog on March 22. She is in the process of being kennel trained, she knows how to sit, drop the ball, lay down, shake, and she's great on a leash. She is very high energy and loves to run around and play outside. She would be a wonderful dog for someone who would have the time to play with her and give her all of the attention she deserves.
