About Silas

***URGENT*** Sweet Silas has had it rough. He spent time locked up in Chicago Animal Control in a small kennel. Things started looking up when he was adopted. He spent a few happy months with his new family. BUT THEN everything fell apart. A friend of his owner came over with a dog. The friend let the dog off the leash in the apartment and the dog attacked Silas. Silas acted in self-defense, but all blame was placed on him. The owners tried to break up the fight and did so incorrectly so one of them was bitten. Silas was then returned to the animal control to be euthanized. He was saved by a couple volunteers and now sits in boarding. At Chicago Animal Control Silas was a happy and loveable puppy. He attended playgroup with other dogs. While he was living in his home, he was going to daycare every day. Silas was a victim was human error and he almost lost his life. His life is on the line again and he needs a home. He is afraid of other dogs right now since he was attacked. Please step up to save this innocent soul!
