About Bentley

Adoption Fee: $150
Australian Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Bentley is a 3 year old Austrailian Shepard. He is a medium size dog weighing approximately 50 pounds. Bentley is NOT housebroken and is an outside dog that is use to being in a fenced in backyard. He does well in a crate where he sleeps and is housed during rainy or very cold weather. Bentley would do well in a large fenced yard, or on several acres in a country setting. He needs a place to run and play, preferably with another similar dog to keep him company. He does well with other dogs (has a Havanese brother that he plays well with). He also does well with children that live in the home, although he jumps while playing. Bentley likes belly rubs and having his neck scratched. He also likes daily walks on a leash, but barks at strangers along the way. Bentley does not interact well with strangers and when someone drives into the driveway, he knows and begins to bark. He seems to be a bit aggressive but has always been in a controlled environment. He goes to the groomer and has regular vet visits and interacts well in both of those situations. Bentley is currently up to date on vaccinations and is scheduled for boosters at his vet in mid July. He is NOT neutered. Disclosure -Bentley has bitten once-it was someone he was not familiar with that was trying to leash and move him. If you think that this beautiful boy is a great fit for your family, please email me at: [email protected] or call 573 -701 -2358 There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
