About Betty

Betty is an extremely loyal companion seeking a home with no other pets. Betty is about five years old and still very playful. Betty is looking for a strong and experienced leader who is willing and able to provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Betty is an adorable girl and is protective of her foster family and property. She has had a quiet life so far, so is still learning. Betty needs patient owner who will provide firm boundaries that enable Betty to feel secure as she builds confidence in her new owner and surrounds. Betty is the most beautiful and loving companion. She wants to be with you and what ever you are doing, however, she also takes her time to do dog things in the yard, or go for a nap. Betty is not super clingy, she just really likes to know what everyone is doing. Betty has had some dog-friend's in the past, but she's not too keen with other females. She gets a fright easy after a serious attack. That said, she walks great on her lead, she responds incredibly well to training. She hasn't been tested with other animals. She has responded extremely well to wild birds that we feed daily. She reacted when she came to stay with us, but after a couple of months of training, she is happy to share her world with them and joins us at feeding time.
