About Maddie

Sweet and blind, little old Maddie is looking for a loving home to live out her golden years. She recently had a very much needed dental where she lost 19 of her teeth and is now down to 6 left. Maddie is very friendly and lovable. She gets around just fine once she gets the lay of the land. Maddie gets along fine with other dogs and is also ok with cats. She is housebroken and is a cuddle bug. Maddie does have a heart murmur but was cleared for the dental and did just fine. She is not on any meds. Maddie is about 11 years old and 12 pounds. *Note - We are not sure if Maddie was ever spayed. Due to her age, her heart murmur and recent lengthy dental it was decided not to put her through such a surgery. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
