About D.O.G.

Meet D.O.G. (pronounced 'Dee - Oh - Gee'). DOG was left at the shelter by his owner who had to move and could not take him with them. DOG has a great personality! He is friendly and sweet and gets along with people, kids and other dogs. We do not know how he is with cats. He loves to go for walks and gets excited when he sees the leash. D.O.G. seems he was housebroken at some point and will just need regular walks/letouts to help him get back into his routine. DOG is about 3 years old and 22 pounds. Please help DOG find his forever home! Update: DOG tested positive for Ehrlicchia, the common tick borne disease similar to Lyme's. He is currently taking the usual oral antibiotic treatment and it will be sent with his new family for completion. DOG is otherwise feeling fine and is available for adoption! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
