About Hannah

We've been Hannah's people for nearly 9 years. We adopted her when she was about 6 months old. She has been a faithful, fun companion and protector ever since. Sadly, her boy has moved away to college and his parents can no longer care for Hannah in the way she deserves due to work, travel and unforeseen circumstances. Hannah is affectionate, obedient and mellow but always ready for a walk or adventure. She's been hiking and camping with us, loves to play, explore, chase rabbits, squirrels and lizards, and, of course, sleep-especially after playing with her friends at Runamuk (a kennel-free, supervised play environment and boarding facility). She is very friendly but also protective. She warns us when coyotes are near or a thunderstorm is coming. She can be suspicious of some dogs on leashes. She is good with young children and other dogs but can tire if given too much attention. She knows several tricks and especially loves playing hide and seek. She may prefer to be a one and only pet but might do well with a playmate if introduced properly. She is indoor/outdoor but prefers to be wherever her people are. We love her and would love to keep her local and out of the Phoenix heat!
