About Redgie

. Redgie is about 4-5 yrs old. Redgie is a Ridgeback black mouth cur mix. He was trapped as a stray in Texas. He had a rescue that backed out on him and the facility he is at took Redgie as her own dog to get him well and ready for his forever home. Redgie loves the outdoors and would prefer to be outdoors most of the time. He hates being in a crate indoors. Redgie loves to be free and just run and enjoy life. Life wasn't very kind to him prior to being trapped. Redgie had an injury to his leg was severely emaciated and needed to slowly gain weight. Redgie has since put on some good healthy weight, he has been neutered and is current on his vaccines. Redgie can be dog selective, he doest best with females or other dogs that are passive and laid back. Redgie has also done well with the cats in the home and on the property. Redgie can be a little hesitant and stand off ish when he first meets you, and can also come off as aggressive, but he's not he is fearful and will growl at you to scare you. Once Redgie trusts you he becomes your best friend. Redgie will do best in a home with a fully fenced in yard and possibly an indoor outdoor kennel that he can run during the day.
