About Inara

This little Lacey has had quite the year. Escaping from her adopter's car at a Buc'ees and roaming the area for TEN MONTHS before being shut inside a show home by a quick-thinking realtor and taken to a rescue partner. Whilst loose, Inara never missed a meal, and enjoyed countless offering from the employees at Burger King. Girl has serious street smarts, even learning to use the cross walk to avoid being hit by passing cars! She was befriended by a kind woman, and although she was happy to visit her and get pets, she still managed to evade capture. Inara has proved to be extremely resilient and smart, and we're sure she will bond to her people in a nice calm home environment, and more likely to do so with a resident dog to guide her. Inara is a dream to leash walk, seems to be house trained, and has done well with the dogs we have introduced her to, but is yet to show any signs of wanting to play. We know she'll get there soon.
