About THOR

Meet 6 year old THOR...a hefty boy weighing in at 80 pounds. He can probably shed a few pounds...but who couldn't!? This guys has lived in a home and has enjoyed jeep rides, hiking, running, and playing with four other dogs. Suddenly in comes a tiny puppy and all hell breaks loose. The dynamics change. He suddenly didn't understand or want to be bothered with the other dogs and is a little reactive towards them...no known reason..it just seems that he has changed since the puppy came on board. So here he is...in all his beautiful glory, getting tossed aside. And the puppy gets to stay no less!! He has been in the same family since a wee baby. We don't understand, we don't judge...we just want THOR to get into a good home and enjoy the rest of his life. He loves to snuggle and ride in cars, jeeps or anything that moves. He would make a great (slow) hiking buddy until some weight falls off. He has never been destructive and loves to lay at the feet of his humans, or crawl up on the chair with them and give huge sloppy kisses. He wouldn't think of peeing in the house...has been 100% reliably potty trained. He deserves to be in a good home on someone's lap...well maybe sitting next to them until some pounds come off!! We don't recommend small children because, after all, he is a wrecking ball in size! Anyone want to give him a try? He is currently in the Simi Valley area...we also could use a good foster for him.
