About Mama Maria

Meet Mama Maria. She is a year young, 35 lb possible Jack Russel-Corgi mix who taveled from Puerto Rico last week and is doing well with her foster in Va Beach. She was once a mama dog but has recently been spayed. UTD on all vacinnes/preventative meds. She is full of personality and spunk! She would benefit from obedience training as she still jumps up begging for affection from whatever human is around. Good with some dogs as she is an alpha female. Possibly best matched with submissive or very secure males or no dog home. She desperately desires human interaction and will follow you around, however, this does not translate into separation anxiety which is great! She seems to be fine with her alone time and is not destructive at all when shut in foster's office with a dog bed and toys. Seems to be completely potty trained, no accidents so far. Feeding separately from the other dogs, because she has had to fight for food her whole life. Would do fine in an apartment setting as long as she was provided opportunities to run.
