About Louie

Come on sing along... Louie, Louie, oh, you gotta go to my house! You know when an overcrowded shelter hangs on to a dog for months, he has got to be very special and that dog is Louie!! Louie came to us from a Georgia shelter that is so full they are constantly out of kennel space. This sweet boy quickly won over the hearts of the employees there and here and we know he will yours too! Louie does well with most dogs, but can be male dog selective, so he may do best in a home with only female dogs, the dog in the photos with him is a male and this was their first time meeting. this 1 1/2 year old ham of a boy not only loves to snuggle but chase balls. He enjoys his walks, but can be a bit strong. His previous home had cats and did very well with them and we can retest him if you have felines. Down south he is just another adult dog sitting in a kennel, but up here we know he will get a home filled with love and joy. Please do not make this boy wait another 7 months to get the family he deserves!! To adopt Louie go to our website spfldhumane.org and fill out an application. Once approved we will set up a time for you to come meet him. To speed up the application process please contact your vet to give them permission to speak to us. Adoption fee-$225
