About Canelo & Colmillo

URGENT!! AT RISK - Bonded Husky and Corgi mix males NEED rescue!! We are in a state of emergency and OVER capacity!* This puts dogs like Canelo and Colmillo at greater risk of euthanasia. These guys are running out of time. Canelo is 6 years old, neutered male, HW NEGATIVE, 63lbs - red corgi/mix (no dog test) Colmillo is 6 years old, neutered male, HW NEGATIVE, 44lbs - white Husky (passed dog test These two boys came in together. Their previous owner could not keep them confined (we're thinking typical Husky escape-artist behavior) and so surrendered them to us after being picked up by animal control. We previously had them separated for health and safety reasons as we do for all dogs who come in - look at Canelo SHINE when he sees his best friend! He went from avoiding even looking at us to coming to the gate! Colmillo may be okay on his own but Canelo needs his best friend. They are more fearful on their own than they are together. These guys need to go together!
