About Jack & Axel

Saint Bernard
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Sibley County, Minnesota - 14 months old (DOB 04-21-2021) BONDED PAIR (not to be separated - extremely bonded)... NEUTERED/UTD - needs new home. Family got them at 6 months old and the family has recently gotten cattle and the dogs keep going after them. They are free to a loving family that has experience. Family got them. Have them outside but they are house trained and come into their garage when too hot. JACK HAS WHITE ON HIS EAR AND AXEL LOOKS MORE SMOOTH COATISH. PHOTO OF THEM BOTH TOGETHER... JAKE IS IN FRONT. THIS IS THE EMAIL BIO OF DOGS FROM OWNER: Jack and Axel are 14 months old. They are purebred but not registered. They are microchipped and dew claws removed. Up to date on shots, heartworm negative. I purchased them from a 'rescue'. They are a bonded pair and both are neutered. They are crate trained. Although I believe it would not take much to house train. They know basic commands; sit, wait, lay down. They do not always come on the first request. They are both skiddish of men. They have been that way since we have had them. They would not do well with kids or livestock. They think cats are weird and will chase them off. The ideal home would have a fenced back yard so they can play freely, and no children. They love to be brushed and to chase each other around. They are good with other dogs, small and large breeds. I suspect that Jack has some hip dysplasia but it is not stopping him from running and chasing his brother, he has not displayed any signs of pain.
