About Calvin

LOCATION: Minden, Louisiana AGE/DOB: 1 year, 06/2021 (estimate) This sweet boy was picked up at the shelter by his amazing foster momma. And immediately settled into his foster home like he had always been there. This little fella is a gem. His foster mom says he is sweet as syrup! Calvin does well with other dogs. He does have a prey drive so would do best in a home without cats or chickens. He's fairly high energy, though has his mellow moments. This 50 lb lug has become the dominant male pup in his pack. As far as his excitement goes, he does get excited! His foster momma either pushes him away or ignores him until he sits before giving him attention. This is working well to give him a bit of self-control. He is such a love bug and knows sit & down well, and we are working on off and that is going well also. Smart lil fella that just wants to cuddle up and get & give loves!! He's such a lover boy. He will snuggle right up to you and stare at you with those soulful eyes. He loves to give kisses too. He's a very loving little fellow who would love a kid or buddy to follow around everywhere. He'd also like another pup companion. Fun facts about this little nugget: He has the cutest little white freckle on the inner rim of his left nostril. Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite. Doesn't fuss about being crated, comes when toys call him, eats like a Great White Shark.....LOL. He needs some basic training/manners, but is very food motivated and that is helping with his training. Could you use a little sweetness in your life?
