1 year old male Labrador Retriever mixocated Phoenix)%90 Elliot only has till 6/21 to get out of the shelter alive. Rescues depend on fosters. If you can foster, please complete the application included here: Elliot is downright frightened at the shelter ! He doesn't know these people that enter his kennel and will retreat and curl up in a ball. The leash is not something he appears familiar with and will tremble when he sees it and be avoidant and give it a lip curl as if it's a torture device. Handlers have been able to successful leash him but give him a ride in the cart to the play yard. Once in the yard, Elliot will slowly explore, will step in the kiddie pool and loves to roll in the grass. He spends time at the fence looking out and longing to be free of the scary shelter. He receives a ride in the cart to be returned to his kennel. A place he doesn't want to go back to. Since his arrival to the shelter on 6/7, he has only been out of his kennel twice. Not enough time for him to get familiar with the strange people or the leash. Elliot would thrive with time, patience and the opportunity to get familiar with his surroundings. Could you help this 1 year old have that? We believe he deserves it. He sure doesn't deserve to die
