Lorna is about 1.5yrs and we've been together since I picked her up at 8wks. She enjoys being with 'her person'/ 'people', whether it's a long stroll or going to the dog park, sleeping on the floor nearby, going for a car ride. Her chow temperament means she's a bit slower to warm up to others, but once she finds trust in a person, she's affectionate and loyal. Because of several circumstantial factors, I do not believe it is in my nor her best interest for her to stay with me. Life is unpredictable, and my lifestyle is no longer compatible with her needs. Lorna needs help with resource guarding-- particularly surrounding mealtime. She guards her bowl and other food objects, sometimes growling, barking, snapping. I do not consider her aggressive in the slightest, only a bit defensive at times, cautious, and can snap-growl-react out of fear, as I mentioned above. She has never bitten anyone (myself included). Let's talk !
