About Wren

Adoption Fee: $75.00
Catahoula mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Wren has been a well loved pet in our home since she was 4 months old. Affectionate, playful, and loves an adventure. She is great with recall, sit, stay & other basic commands. She lives on 6 acres & has spent most of her life off leash, but also does well with leashed walking. She mostly wants to be by her humans side, but will do fine alone after she's had some exercise. Wren is a big fan of belly rubs & is truly the softest dog you'll ever touch. Her Catahoula breed makes for a beautiful short haired tri-colored merle coat. Weighing around 45lbs she is a lovely medium sized dog. Her birthday is 2/10/19 Shortly after the introduction of a second female dog, Wren would start fights between them. They have escalated over the last two years to such a high level of intensity & frequency that we believe she would be happiest in a home without other dogs. We would highly encourage Wren still have walking dates with other dogs. Wren does mostly okay around our two cats, but she has nipped at them so it would be best to keep cats away. Wren is a wonderful dog & we are heartbroken to have to rehome her, but it's clear to us that her happiness & quality of life is most important. It is obvious to us now that constantly navigating life with other animals is stressful for her. On the positive side she absolutely loves meeting new people. If you would like to see more photos of Wren or hear more about her just call or email me. Wren's adoption fee is $75 & will be donated to RescueMe.org
