Ember is a generally good dog, but is very stressed out by our toddler. We think it would be best for her to be in a home without children. She is also very protective of whatever and whoever she deems is hers. She has mouthed 3 people who she thought were stealing our things. All 3 mentioned that she had very good bite control and felt it was just a warning. She also likes to mother our daughter, something that could lead to an accidental, but serious injury. That's a risk we can't take. A dog behaviorist told us that the aggression could potentially be a neurological problem, but it could be worth a shot to train it out of her, but that would require a new environment. She is going to need someone that has both the time and energy to train her. She knows all the basic commands and can obey them...when she wants. Never been around cats, but probably wouldn't be good with them. She is good around other dogs her size, but tiny dogs can irritate her. Any other questions, please feel free to ask.
