About Boomer

Boomer is a male Hound/Shepherd mix DOB: March 2021 Adoption fee: $100.00 I am a very big boy. I weigh roughly 81 pounds but could lose some of this unwanted winter weight. I am a big softy at heart and want nothing more than to be part of a family. I have a silly heart and I love to please. I do know my name, and I listen well without distractions that is. I will sit for a treat, but I could really use some boundaries training along with some leash work. I would do my best and may require a physically fenced yard. I may obey an invisible fence pending location and applicants' knowledge of using an invisible fence. I am not fit for an apartment, or tie-outs, I pull hard on a leash and will need impulse control work when it comes to going after what I want. I am recommended with children 10+ which are used to big dogs, I have not been tested with cats at this time. I may match with another dog but do not understand my size and therefore could be very intimidating to others or may play too rough.
