About Ginseng

URGENT, THE CACC SHELTER IS VERY FULL!! HELP HER FIND HER FOREVER HOME NOW!! Ginseng is a boost of energy! Ginseng started out as a scared little thing. She looked petrified when we approached her kennel and was in a hurry to leave it. But it wasn't us she was into, we were just the vessel of freedom. In the lot, Ginseng kept her space. She didn't want our treats or our compliments. At first that is. We even tried to engage her with toys but she only wanted to cling to the edge of the space. Ginseng let us pet her but it didn't help her relax either. So we were going to try again another day. As soon as we said it was time to go inside, Ginseng grabbed a tennis ball and started her own match. Some switch flipped in her. She loves to play with toys. She is great at fetch and gentle taking treats. Ginseng is a hungry gal once she feels comfortable and she is getting adjusted more each day.
