About Bear

Bear is a German Shepherd. He is 1 year old. Like many of our dogs, Bear had a rough start in life, fed bottom of the barrel food and kept in a cage most of the time when he was under 6 months old, which played a big part in his condition. The head of his femur has had some damage and blood loss and is deteriorating some. He is definitely getting around better now with good food and exercise. Bear is active, loves to play. He knows basic commands such as sit, paw and he's curious about everything. He is a great dog. Bear would do better in a household with no small children.
