About Wren

Adoption Fee: $50
Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Wren was rescued as a puppy, having had a rear leg amputated, and is now approx 1 year old and is about 50 lbs. She has been raised in a home with two elementary aged kids, a low energy adult dog and a large fenced yard. She walks nicely on leash and knows all her basic commands. She is spayed, reliably housebroken and crate trained. Wren is sweet, curious, engaging and loves people and attention. Wren is also anxious, can be vocal and is easily overstimulated/agitated by the noise and activity of children in her space. We had hoped she would grow out of her anxious behaviors as they are generally improved when our children are out of the house. We believe that these behaviors might be resolved by living in a child-free home. Wren's ideal home is an adult-only home (bonus points for a single floor building) with someone who would love to talk to her and dote on her, is amused by her eccentricities and quirks and will lavish her with the attention that she craves.
