About Dixie

Dixie is a sweet 3 year old female Border Collie mix. Her first owners had her and basically kept her tied up to a fence all day. The last owner rescued her from that situation and has had her for a year but now due to personal issues and unfortunate circumstances she can no longer keep her. She loves her dog and wants to make sure she gets a forever home and a family to love and spoil her. Preferably a family or owner that is home often and can give her the time and exercise she needs. She's a cuddler, doesn't bark much but can howl instead occasionally, usually when she hears sirens. She's playful and a loyal companion.
