About SWEET PEA

Meet Adoptable SWEET PEA! Sweet Pea is a happy, playful girl & loves to be with her human, whether it is cuddling on the couch or playing in the yard. She is still a bit timid around men but has improved greatly since she knows she is now safe & she is a delight to her foster family! Sweet Pea is very smart & now knows many commands, loves to play fletch & go on car rides. She can be a strong girl & her play style, at times, would be too much for little ones so we recommend any kids in the home to be at least 10 years old, which is our usual age standard. Sweet Pea is good around other dogs & cats & currently lives with a small dog & cats in her foster home. She has never been in a crate, since she has been in rescue, & does well when left alone in the house but has only been left for short periods (2-3 hours) since her foster family is home most of the time. Sweet Pea gets a bit anxious & worried, as first, when being left alone but has bothered nothing & is always happy when her people return!. Sweet Pea is about 3 yrs old, weighs 40 lbs, is spayed, vaccinated, Heartworm negative, on Heartworm & flea prevention, microchipped & house trained. Sweet Pea was rescued from an alley & was still lactating. We believe she was dumped after they used her for her puppies. Her stated breed mix is a guess according to her appearance.
