About A mellow fellow

Jake was rescued from a south Texas Animal Control facility in late 2021. He was pulled by Always Pawsible and is being fostered in Austin, Texas. His foster says he is the most chill German Shepherd she has fostered, and is a low-key foster in general. He is a 2 year old boy with beautiful eyes: one blue and one brown. He loves to be by his person and has some adorable puppy mannerisms. He excels at lounging around both indoors and out and watching birds and squirrels. He gets along with the female dogs in the house and has met other male fosters. He enjoys some toys, especially super rubbery balls and Orbees with treats inside. Plush squeaky toys will do in a pinch and squeaky rubber balls are his favorite. He is house trained and crate trained and likes belly rubs. He also knows 'shake' and will give you his paws to wipe down after being in the dirt. He is a good walker and is polite when getting his harness put on. He will enjoy romps on the trails and cool weather. Transportation to Colorado can be arranged (a transport fee applies).
