About DUKE

MEET DUKE!!! Duke is a what we believe a Carolina Dog mix who is estimated to be about 2 years old and 60 pounds. He came to us after being abandoned in a TN vets office. Duke lived in a tiny little cage for 3 months before we finally were able to find a foster willing to open her home to this sweet boy. Sweet is just not enough to explain his gentle personality. Duke is so thankful to his foster mom for 'saving' him. He gets along with other dogs and when tested ignored the cat in the room. Duke is up to date with all his vaccinations, crate and house trained but unfortunately, he is heartworm positive. Duke has had his first injection for Heartworm treatment but We are looking for an adopter who will be willing to bring Duke in for his last two injection treatments at the rescues expense.
