About Sarge

Sarge is 4 1/2 years old. I rescued him from a shelter where he was being drugged. I found out that the first 1 1/2 of his life he was abused and locked in a cage for long periods of time. He was very scared and anxious, but with alot of Love and three months of professional training he has come along way. In the meantime he has grown into a big sweet boy of 100 lbs. We have continued to work with him on a daily basis to further along his training. He is wonderful with his commands but at times gets a mind of his own. He does not get along with other animals. He Loves to be outside and run around and can't get enough play time. He loves when you throw the ball to him. He still has alot of anxiety riding in a car but we continue to work on it. We are looking for that special person/family that can continue working with him so he can have the best life possible. Sarge will need to have a large fenced in yard and a person who has worked with German shepherds before and can continue his training. Sarge is very strong and doesn't know his own strength sometimes and thinks he can be a lap dog.
