About PANGUR BAN

Pangur Ban is a 1-2 year old tri-pawed boy searching for his forever home. He has had it rough in the past but is hoping for a much brighter future! Due to an injury sustained before his rescue, one of his forelegs had to be amputated. However, he hasn't noticed. He runs around, easily hops up and down to any surface, climbs up on cat towers, and even bats at toys with his invisible paw! He will do anything to get attention or treats. He loves to roll around getting scratches on his big cheeks. He is playful, inquisitive, and very vocal. He is pure white with beautiful crystalline blue eyes. Although some cats with this coloring are deaf, he can hear the treat jar opening from across the house!! He prefers to spend time with lady cats and he is already neutered so no concerns there, but he would also thrive as an only cat in the home. This sweet boy has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but this doesn't stop him from being sweet and loving. He also has Feline Herpes Virus which causes chronic upper respiratory infection in his eyes but it can't spread to other cats that are vaccinated with the FVRCP vaccine. A hypoallergenic diet is recommended. Additional medical information is available upon request. Each cat will come to their new home neutered or spayed, with age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested for FeLV, FIV and heartworms, and microchipped. They can travel along I-35 in Texas with rescue partner for a small donation. Transport is available to most southern states, CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175. All out of state adoptions/transport MUST have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $85. Three personal references, a veterinary reference, a completed application, an adoption contract, and an adoption donation are required for adoption.
