Gunner is one of sweetest dogs I've ever met. He's wonderful with everyone, kids included, and with dogs and cats. We recently had to relocate, to receive services for our handicapped son. The only thing we could find was an apartment. This change has been good to gunner. He's developing severe separation anxiety, and despite the may things we've tried, he's just not adjusting. He needs a fenced yard and a family or person that can be more present in his life. We work many hours, and on top of appointments and things for our son, gunner is suffering. We love him very much, but this is the right thing to do. I repeat..,he has to have a fenced yard to run and play, or the new owner would experience exactly what we are right now. And would not benefit gunner, or the new owner. He is housebroken. Indicates when he has to go by sitting in front of the door. I'm sure a new owner would have to only encourage this behavior if need be. Knows basic commands.
