About Athena

Athena, 3 years, 12 pounds has had a tough start in life and would love to find her forever home! She came to rescue from an abusive situation in terrible condition -- completely matted, an eye injury from the matting, terrible skin, heartworm positive. A shaving, good food, medicated baths, heartworm treatment and lots of kindness and love have Athena ready for adoption. She is cautious meeting new people, warms up to a sweet, funny, loving character, who loves squeaky toys!��%BD%A0 She's mostly ok with other dogs but prefers her humans.
