About SEABISCUIT

Seabiscuit is in need of a foster or foster to adopt home!! This handsome boy was originally a stray at marion county shelter. Adopted and again turns up as a stray sadly.. He is a great boy!!! Around a year old, heartworm negative. totally vetted and chipped!! Knows some commands, The shelter has this to say about him, Myself and two other staff members took Seabiscuit out to our play yard. We were able to get him to come to us and take treats nicely, and touch his ears, feet and mouth. We then brought a female dog out who doesn't always like every dog and they got along well. Seabiscuit then got to meet a male dog and they also got along. I think he might have trouble getting along with an extremely dominant dog. He enjoyed running around and visiting with the humans. He is also very barrier reactive in the kennel but wasn't as bad outside when we had the dogs first meet through the chain link. I tried some toys with him at first and he wasn't that interested in them. He appears to be clean in his kennel, and very tuned into people.. good with other dogs. Cats unknown..
