Abby is a gorgeous, energetic, happy, and extremely affectionate, eight-month-old, tan and white female Bull Terrier/Pit Bull-mix looking for a loving guardian. This sweet girl was found tied to a tree in a vacant lot on a hot day in Chicago. She was abandoned with no food and no water. She had been adopted the week prior at Chicago Animal Care and Control, and the adopter refused to respond to the microchip's company's calls. Abby is best as the only pet in the home, but she does beautifully with humans! She can be reactive on walks when she sees other dogs. She would love a home with a fenced-in yard, and maybe even some older children who can toss a ball for her! Abby is extremely healthy, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Abby, please e-mail [email protected] for more information or an adoption application. She is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment after applying.
