Phoebe is a beautiful, sweet, shy girl who is also very active...at only 1-year-old, she still has a lot of puppy in her so she will need a home with people who are also very active and will also require another young playful dog in the home to help build her confidence and also help burn off some of that puppy energy! Phoebe is a bit shy when meeting new people, and will usually bark at first until she knows you aren't a threat, then she becomes your best friend! She will require a secure, fenced yard with room to run around in. She is not a candidate for condo/apartment living. She would do okay in a home with older children (at least 10-12 years of age) who are of a gentle, responsible nature. She loves to play fetch, run and play in the backyard, but also loves to sit next to you on the couch and watch sports, Netflix, HGTV, whatever you want...she doesn't care as long as she's with you. Watch out though, she thinks she's a 5 pound lap dog! She loves going on walks, but being a puppy, she could still use some perfecting of her leash walking capabilities. She is potty trained, crate trained and knows a few commands like sit, down, and drop it. She still likes to chew, so will require lots of chew toys to keep her busy and out of trouble....Phoebe would really benefit from continued obedience training since she's a very smart girl and an eager learner and wants to be her best self.
