About Molly

Meet Molly! Molly is a Lab mix from Texas. Molly has been in our rescue now for over a year and is one of our longest rescues and honestly, we can't figure out why- she is such a love. Molly has been through a lot and is now very ready for a family of her own. Her story is a very familiar one who was abandoned on the streets defending herself pregnant and on her own. She was turned into the shelter and to save her and her babies on the euthanasia list - she was transferred to our rescue. Molly was heartworm positive when she first arrived - a condition most shelters do not like to treat but would rather be euthanized. When she and her babies were running out of time- they called us for help and of course, we had to save her and her babies. Once they arrived at our rescue, Molly was scared but was a sweetheart too. All her pups were adopted and then it became Molly's turn for her to be heartworm treated and spayed. She is now heart-worm free and healthy. Molly is now looking for her forever home and is very sweet. She is medium to high energy, but settles down quickly and is extremely smart. She currently is in a foster family with cats and dogs and a teenager that cares for her with no issues. She has learned trust, commands, security, and most of all to be a worthy and loyal companion. She loves her toys and is crate train and house-trained. She would much rather just stay close to her person or family. This little lady has been without a home for much too long and needs a sense of belonging. She is beautiful and has been patient - now just needs her FOREVER home. Molly would do well with an active family who would love her for her and is willing to continue to work with her.
