About Laila

Coming soon in Pennsylvania Meet Layla, she's a 2 1/2 year old border collie / husky mix (we think!) with maybe some Aussie in there. This beautiful dog is someone's dream best friend - she clearly bonds closely with her people and wants to be by their side all day, and doesn't seem much bothered by much of anything. She loves to give hugs and kisses, and she is sweet and mellow. She is doing well in her foster home with two other dogs - she is respectful of their space, and is even starting to play. She likes balls! She is not good with cats. She hasn't been kid-tested her but I'm sure she will be fine as she loves everyone she meets. But due to her size and the fact that she thinks she's a lap dog at 65 pounds, kids 10 and up please as she doesn't know her size or strength . Layla walks well on a leash , she listens well - she has great recall - and is crate trained. She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and someone that works from home or part time as she doesn't like to be left alone too long. She would be the perfect dog for outdoorsy folks who love to take long walks. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is housetrained .
