Sadly, as days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and nobody chose her - depression has set in, licking bars, jumping on walls and its a devastating reality because we know all she needs is a family. From a shy beauty to the life of a party, and a true favorite of volunteers. She's comes leaps and bounds. And is now ready for her next step. Into a home that deserves her. She's described by her former family as 'well-trained' and 'affectionate,' something also seen at the shelter! She loves her walks, snuggles in the sun, and the chance to show off her 'paw' and 'down.' Because of her long wait, Skylar is now displaying kennel stress and actively seeking placement outside the shelter. Skylar would prefer a home without other dogs, and one able to give her the time and space she needs to show the side that we've all now seen. And that side shines like the sun.
