[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Figment is a wonderful 12-pound, 3-year-old dachshund, Yorkshire terrier, and pug mix. He has special needs and requires an extremely patient adopter who can be home with him most of the time. Adoption would begin with a few overnight stays to ease him in. Tough stuff: 1. Fig has an autoimmune disease that requires daily medication ($50/month). 2. Fig had anal gland removal surgery that damaged his sphincter so no longer has full fecal continence. He mostly defecates outside but will periodically drop small pellets of feces inside because he does not feel them come out. 3. Fig is afraid of men and small kids (no biting, lots of barking). He can learn to love specific men and kids, but they need to be very, very patient with him for a long time first. The Good: 1. Fig is super smart and food motivated, so he is well-trained, fetches, and knows some tricks. 2. Fig LOVES playing with other dogs of all sizes. 3. Fig is affectionate & loves to interact with people & curl up on laps. 4. Fig is a great hiker and happily climbs 14ers on his tiny legs!
