About Charlie

Looking for a new forever home for my 9yr old male boxer, Charlie. He's the sweetest cuddlebug best friend you'll ever meet, and sadly with my living situation and occupation I am not able to be home longer than enough time to take him for a short walk and sleep. Charlie is an indoor dog but loves the outdoors, especially the lake. House broken, crate and leash trained. He is an anxious dog during car rides, but other than that he is very chill. He has a strong prey drive and does not get along well with other animals due to not being socialized much while I've had him for the past 8 years. He's generally good with dogs smaller than him once he gets used to them, but not so much with larger dogs. He likes to take a minute to get to know you, but once walks in between your legs to give you a dog hug, you're his best friend. The best situation for him would be with someone who is home a lot, has a big back yard, is very patient and loving, does not have other animals or rambunctious kids. He deserves so much love. He comes chipped (Petlink), up to date on all shots, food, food and water bowls, dog beds, an extra large crate (never uses it and prefers the couch) and is in excellent health.
