About Charlie

Charlie is a handsome male red merle Australian Shepherd puppy and is approximately 7 1/2 months old. He is living in Platte City, Mo. I adopted him when he was about 8 weeks old. He was recently neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and is currently on monthly heartworm medication. Charlie loves his immediate family and is great in his own house and yard. He is very reactive to strangers. He has been working with a trainer for the past couple of months. He will need someone strong to work with him on his fear aggression and more training. He does ok around my grandchildren with supervision but would probably do best without children in home due to his reactivity and high energy. Charlie loves to play frisbee and catch with the ball. He enjoys walks daily. He would do well with a large fenced yard. He has learned some basic commands, sit, down, come, wait, stay, shake and high five. Charlie is just a puppy and is so very smart. With a strong and confident leader, he can be socialized and will learn that meeting new people and dogs is a good thing.
