About Rosie

Meet Rosie. This poor girl along with another pregnant dog were left tied up at an abandoned house. Luckily someone spotted Rosie and her friend and called animal control to save them. Despite being filthy and hungry, Rosie is a very happy, sweet girl. She gets along with people, kids, other dogs and does not bother cats. Rosie needs some practice on a leash, but is very eager to please. It also seems Rosie may have been housebroken at some point and will just need a little bit of reminding with regular walks/letouts to get her routine back. She is about a year old and 36 pounds. Please help Rosie find the loving home that she deserves. Update: Rosie tested positive for 2 common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Anaplasmosis. She is currently undergoing the usual course of oral antibiotic which will be given to her new family to complete. Rosie is otherwise doing great and is very happy and available for adoption! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
