About Sunny

Sunny (Chiweenie mix, ~4 years old) Sunny was abandoned on a middle school playground in Bakersfield, CA with her approximately 8-week old puppies in a box and their father, Jack*, who is also available for adoption. Despite the stress of that experience, she is thriving in her foster home. Her foster mom calls her 'Sunny' because she is such a happy girl. She loves cuddles, is potty trained, and enjoys neighborhood walks on a leash. At some point in her life, Sunny was loved and cared for by someone. She is fearful around dogs so we've determined she needs to be rehomed with Jack (they do love each other) or be an only dog, but friendly and relaxed with people.
