Last March, Bellatrix was a stray in Pittsburgh; she's now being fostered in NYC. DNA shows she's a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier, about 20 months old. This elegant, glossy-coated, 50-lb girl is a canine athlete, high energy and eager to play with any human who'll give her a chance. She's curious about everything; her wrinkled, velvet forehead, 'rose' ears, and expressive eyes ask, 'What doing?' Bella's completely safe with humans--does not guard food or toys and has a 'soft' play mouth-but barks at dogs and anything fast-moving. She will thrive as a suburban companion dog, with a fenced yard where she can burn off steam. Bella has had basic obedience training and is spayed, chipped, housebroken, crate-trained, in good health, and up to date on all shots. Plus, she comes with a complete trousseau!
