About Marcie

Macie is our 'Good Time Girl'! She has the best smile!!! You'll just have to smile back!!! She's a 3 year old Dutch Shepherd/wire haired jack russell mix who weighs about 40 lbs. Macie is super with other dogs but her favorite playmates are males so she will want a playful boyfriend in her Forever Home. Macie was found as a stray on the streets of Indianapolis and was very undersocialized when we got her; she was so scared of people. But our girl has really blossomed and loves to get ear scratches & tummy rubs now! She does still get anxious in new situations so having a confident 'boyfriend' around will help her to feel safe. Macie will need a fenced in yard and, because she still has some anxiety, homes with children under 12 years old would be too stressful for her. We have provided her with a ProHeart 12 injection to cover a years worth of heartworm preventative so however many months are left will be added to the adoption fee. (Indianapolis area)
