About Bear

Bear was born in August 2017. Roughly 65 pounds on last vet visit in 2022. He is due for a rabies shot as he last had one when neutered. He is a sweet boy who loves to play fetch. He walks well on leash, comes, sits, and lays down. He has previously been crate trained. He gets along with kids (recommend older children due to his size) and other dogs of various sizes and genders. He also lives with cats who he ignores. He seems to ride well in cars but hasn't left the farm he lives on often. He is favorite place to lay is at his owners feet. He is an extremely good watch dog and will warning bark at noises and things he feels is concerning which has saved many chickens. He must be supervised with small animals as he does have a shepherd prey drive. He does however need medication and supplements to manage his skin condition and potential to get ear infections. He needs frequent brushing with his long coat. He is not aggressive but does not like his feet handled making nail trimming a two person job. Due to no fault of his own, he must find a new forever family as we are moving from a hobby farm to an apartment and we believe it is best for him to have a family with a yard.
