About Dex

Courtesy post for owner: Meet Dex! Dex is a 10 year old male Pit/Shepherd mix. He was adopted at 9 mos. after many hardships and has been with the same family since. Unfortunately, Dex has been aggressive with other animals multiple times, and his owners have no choice but to rehome him. It is no longer safe/ manageable for he & his fur sister to share a home. Dex is GREAT with people! Children are unknown, the best environment for Dex will have children 13+. In the evening, he'll snuggle on the couch with you and during the day he LOVES being outside! Despite his age, he still LOVES to run around! He doesn't just some fenced in area. He does well on a leash, but when confronted by another dog he loses his cool. He loves his treats and will sit patiently for them, taking them from you very gently:). Dex is a GREAT dog- he overcame the trauma he experienced as a pup, but with age has lost his ability to practice restraint. Having a home to live out his senior years is just what he needs.
