About Turquoise

URGENT THE CACC SHELTER IS FULL!! Help her find her forever home!! Turquoise doesn't know exactly how to accept love (yet). She came to us starving and nervous. Turquoise will let us leash her up fairly easily and sticks close when walking past other dogs. She seeks out affection but isn't sure once she gets it. Turquoise is so hungry and she is focused on finding all the food. She can be eager taking treats but doesn't mean to shark either. It is part of her nervousness. Sometimes she pancakes to the ground with unexpected movements or sounds and she cowers when she walks around us. Turquoise also impersonates a swan when she sits for her treats. She gets as close and long as possible. She will lay her head on our shoulder for soothing pets temporarily before going back on the hunt for another treat.
