Sweet Meela Moppet! Two year old, 30 poundish, bobbin tail blue bicolor biscuit Meela is a a sweetheart of Aussie moppet mix. *BEFORE READING FURTHER, PLEASE NOTE: The pooch cannot leave the rescue until she has been spayed. Unfortunately, appointment wait times are longer now- several weeks out. Therefore the adopter would have to be willing to patiently wait for their girl to join them.* Meela's a heart eyes dog who wants a Love-All-Her-Own to shine them on. Meela is sweet pie personality and 'girls just want to have fun' playfulness. Prime time for this puppy love pocket are ball chases followed by settle down snuggle and cuddle time with her Favorite Folks. In her Foster home, Meela has had plenty of frolic opportunities with her foster canines (a happy pack of big and littles) and does she LOVE it! The poppet came to our rescue when her family lost their home. Meela's former life included kiddos, doggos and kitties. However, Meela has tried to chase kitties when they are frisky. If her new family includes felines, Miss Meela will need 'off limit' boundaries and guidance that they are not for herding or play chase with clear 'Leave it' and redirection. Meela is a good girl in her crate, ready to greet the day when her Folks arise. She knows 'sit' and 'paw'. She's a smart cookie and ready to learn more. She pulls on leash ('Let me show you all the lovely things to see.') Meela is eager for direction. The minxette has been known to roam a little-she needs someone willing to manage her need for mental and physical stimulation. A fence makes sense for her, but may not be needed for an experienced and active adopter. Moppette Meela is a great girl for a patient, experienced, 'I get Aussies' person or family. Since she may have a tendency to herd when she is excited,, she'd do best with dog savvy children 7 and ok by kitties with coaching. A dog of similar temperament would be welcomed with this canine fan. Introductions with new people, especially children, places, other dogs and cats MUST be slow and monitored. The adopter commits to slow and monitored introductions with new people, especially children, places and other dogs, cats, and animals. The adopter must also give their new dog time to decompress and grow familiar with a new environment and routine.
