About Fiona & Phoebe

Fiona and Phoebe came in to our home as puppies 8 years ago at my wife's insistence! She (the wife) has left and was supposed to rehome these girls. This breaks my heart, but I can not keep them because I work long hours and travel. I would love for them to stay together so that they can feel safe. Fiona has vision issues, but gets around well and is the more playful of the two. Phoebe is a little strange, but very loveable. They both love pets but are not crazy about being carried. Their ideal home would be a retired couple or single who could dote on them all day. They are house trained as long as you pay attention to their cues. They eat dry food and just graze all day, so they are easy keepers. Fiona is probably too afraid to ever run away, but Phoebe is much more daring and she loves to hunt lizards in the back yard. They are Shih Tzus (Phoebe is clearly mixed), so they have that innate bark to protect their owner and house. That is a trait that has been long bred in to these animals. I desperately need to find them a home because I'm moving very soon.
